Spinner Bait Tube Instructions
Insert a live sea worm on the hook (best bait),
or a small chunk of eel, squid, ect... something
for the fish to smell and taste. Can also use
rubber bait with an attractant.
The tube is deadly 1'- 3' off the bottom so
depending on your boat, motor, wind and current
will determine how much line to let out.
Examples: If your boat is equipped with two motors
you should shut one down (take turns). If the wind and current are going with you, you will need to let out more line.
Trolling at a speed of 1.7 - 2.9 mph in 12' - 20' of water with 45' - 60' line out in calm
conditions is a good starting point.
If you need to get down because of water depth or you can't troll slow enough, you can add some weight, drail, rubber core ect... in front of the tube, or you can use
lead core or stainless line.
As the lure swims through the water the blade spins rapidly causing a vibration you can feel in the fishing rod, as well as attracting the fish. When the vibration stops this indicates
something has stopped the blade from
spinning and is most likely caught on your
hook,eel grass, sea weed ect...
BASS DON'T EAT GRASS!
Striped bass most of the time will whack their prey before they eat it, you will feel the hit
through the rod. DO NOT PULL the fish will
come back and the hook will set itself.
